Our well established client is seeking a well organised individual to join their growing team. They are a UK leading provider of testing services using their state of the art laboratory.
Main Duties
* To act as first point of contact for phone enquiries with a professional telephone manner.
* To chase sub-contracted work.
* To support client emails and assist the admin team with general day to day workload.
* To deal with queries.
* To make general orders.
* To carry out ad-hoc duties.
* To take responsibility for own Health & Safety whilst at work.
* To report any bad practices witnessed to the Sample Prep Manager.
Essential skills required
* Experience in an administrative role.
* Strong prioritisation and organisational skills.
* Positive attitude towards change.
* Adaptability to use various in-house systems and processes.
* Close attention to detail and an understanding of operating within a quality system.
* Good IT skills (Microsoft based products, in particular Excel and Word).
* Good written and verbal communication.
Desirable
* Experience in a customer service/admin role.
* Scientific education background, but not essential.
* Knowledge of an industry work stream (Laboratory, analytical Chemistry, Geotechnical testing etc.).
