We are looking for a Parts Advisor working in the Bristol area – This is a permanent position and you will ideally already have experience working as a parts advisor, preferably with commercial vehicles.
No two days will be the same in this role; one minute you could be involved in solving complex parts-related queries, and the next, you could be promoting further parts sales in the branch. You will have the opportunity to not only identify truck, van, or coach parts as queries come in but also make sure we hold all the stock we need to maintain the smooth running of the parts department within the branch operation.
Your Shift Pattern:
* Monday to Friday,
* 0930-1800
* 30 Minute Unpaid Break
* One Saturday per month as overtime. More available if required.
Your Pay PAYE:
* £24,150 – £26,597 Per Annum
* Opportunities for overtime
Your job:
* To process any parts-related inquiries, giving the correct identification and information required.
* To promote parts in compliance with customer upselling guidelines.
* To assist and develop parts sales with the objective of meeting Branch Parts Targets.
* To assist and maintain stock room duties.
* Ensure workstation and parts department comply with the 5S programme.
* To liaise with customers and assist with any queries, keeping up with progress.
* To maintain the Parts Department standards, adhering to and upholding all ISO9002 requirements.
* To provide information, maintain records, and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
* To undertake such other tasks as may reasonably be required.
* To enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests.
* To comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies, and standard procedures.

* 1 year experience with motor vehicle parts.
* Good analytical skills.
* Proactive approach in maintaining customer standards.
* Good telephone manner.
* Attention to detail.
* Problem-solving skills.
* Organizational and administration skills.
