About the role
As Airport Duty Supervisor, I am responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day operation of the airport. My goal is to work collaboratively with the Passenger Experience team to improve operational efficiency and maintain the high standards throughout the airport that our passengers have grown to expect. Here’s what I will be doing day to day:
* Provide leadership and line management to the Passenger Experience Assistants.
* Supervise all aspects of the terminal and surface access operations, ensuring our passengers receive a seamless experience at all stages of their journey through our airport.
* Conduct routine inspections of the airport facilities, identifying, reporting, and addressing any issues found.
* Review the daily performance of the operation, ensuring KPIs are being met.
* Ensure that airport safety and security procedures are followed at all times.
* Fully embody the airport's ‘One Team’ culture and understand that I may be required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
* Be available to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
