An excellent job opportunity has arisen within the Digital / eHealth Department of the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital. As the Servicedesk supervisor you will play a key technical role in the support of the Digital Services within the board. The Board comprises of the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, Research Institute, Innovation Centre & Conference Hotel.
The post holder will be responsible for the day to day running of the Digital Servicedesk and lead a team providing 1st/2nd line Support to all users and effectively troubleshoot Software and Hardware issues.
The post holder will be responsible for the identification and implementation of the governance, risk and compliance requirements for the Servicedesk environment aligned with ITIL.
Applicants must be educated to at least HND level in a relevant computing subject or demonstrate relevant experience in field based first line support. Excellent problem solving and communication skills are essential, in addition to working well as part of a larger team.
