Amazing opportunity available for an Operations Assistant to join a Tour Operator in Berkshire. As the Operations Assistant, you will be assisting the Managing Director in efficiently and accurately supporting the ground handling operations in a busy and growing travel environment.
The Job:
1. Supporting the team's daily operations and logistics
2. Maintaining organised filing systems for both digital and physical documents
3. Taking business-related phone calls and responding in a timely manner to all business-related emails
4. Liaising with service providers, partners, suppliers etc. as required
5. Loading and updating client/booking data into the reservation systems
6. Issuing booking documents (invoices, tickets, itineraries, vouchers etc.)
7. Checking supplier invoices
8. Corresponding with service providers worldwide and requesting reservations in ground-services
9. Conducting relevant industry research
Skills Required:
1. Experience working in a busy office
2. Proficiency and proven experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
3. Excellent attention to detail
4. Excellent logistical thinking
5. Demonstrated ability to manage, prioritise and coordinate projects, including planning, task organisation and working to deadlines
The Package:
The role is full onsite Monday - Friday. Salary depending on experience.
