Royal Berkshire Hotel is looking for a dedicated Reservations and Events Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will consistently project a positive image of our hotel to the public and maintain open communication with your Head of Department to ensure smooth operations.
Role Responsibility
Lots to do, but lots of fun
1. Ensure prompt and professional replies to all e-mails and phone calls.
2. Taking enquiries and inputting reservations into the system.
3. Anticipate guests’ needs where possible to enhance the quality of service and positively promote sales to maximise revenue.
4. Operate and maintain the trace systems for reservations and ensure daily checks are completed.
5. Refer any business that the hotel is unable to accommodate to the sister properties
6. Generate and assist in up selling hotel services and facilities in addition to bedroom sales.
7. Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
8. Pass on all relevant leads to the Sales Team to drive group business.
9. Assist the Reservations Supervisor and Revenue and Sales Manager in any other areas as and when required.
10. To support the sales and operational teams in delivering exceptional standards
11. To ensure that all events are run to our agreed standards
12. To perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
