Full time and part time hours available.
We are looking for ENPs to join our friendly team in a busy and demanding Urgent and Emergency Care Centre. You'll need post-registration experience, excellent communication skills, and, of course, a passion for Minor Injuries Management.
We are currently recruiting Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENP) or equivalent extended scope practitioners to help maintain the very high standards of care we strive to uphold. The successful candidates will help deliver the quality and safety agenda for the department and provide excellent leadership skills to the diverse team.
Our dynamic, caring, and highly-motivated team are looking for an ENP who can communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and relatives as well as other team members. You must be able to work as an autonomous practitioner in the management of minor injuries, preferably with experience in an Emergency care setting, and will be expected to work the full complement of the rota as required by the service.
Main duties of the job
In your role, you will autonomously undertake assessment and treatment of patients in the Urgent and Emergency Care Centre who may present with complex or minor injuries to determine a clinical diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate management and discharge as indicated. You will maintain patient records and be a source of clinical expertise to less experienced staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge, and work in partnership within a multi-disciplinary team. You will work as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in line with relevant policies and guidelines, to autonomously assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge adult & paediatric patients and carry out extended skills such as x-ray interpretation, suturing, and contribute to the training and assessment of others.
