Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Spiritual Guidance Officer to join our team at HMP Rye Hill. As a part-time Chaplain, you will provide spiritual support and guidance to offenders, helping them to rehabilitate and reintegrate into society upon release.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. You will work closely with our Care and Rehabilitation Services team to deliver a holistic approach to offender rehabilitation.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of rehabilitation and be able to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide spiritual guidance and support to offenders, including one-to-one sessions and group activities
* Work collaboratively with other prison staff to develop and implement rehabilitation plans
* Maintain accurate records of offender interactions and progress
* Contribute to the development of new initiatives and programs aimed at promoting offender rehabilitation
Requirements
* Degree-level qualification in theology, divinity, or a related field
* Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a prison or similar setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
