TITLE Senior Fundraising Manager
INTRODUCTION Our client has a rich history of success and innovation and is a leading light in the UK not-for-profit sector. As a result of consistent growth and development, they now require an experienced Senior Fundraising Manager to join their experienced team.
LOCATION South London (Hybrid role – 50/50 per week based at the office and from home)
THE JOB ROLE The Senior Fundraising Manager role is a key part of our client’s fundraising team, delivering income to support both vital existing community services and the development of new initiatives. The role involves:
1. Leading, guiding and developing 3 colleagues in the fundraising team.
2. Partnering with the Head of Fundraising to create and execute our client’s annual fundraising strategy.
3. Responsibility for growing income from a vast existing network of high value donors, supporters and partners.
4. Responsibility for delivering income from new high value donors and supporters.
5. Developing fresh messaging and engagement approaches to reposition our client’s brand and value in the community.
THE PERSON NEEDED For this key Senior Fundraising Manager role, our client is looking for:
1. Team leadership experience.
2. Strong experience in a senior fundraising role in the not-for-profit or charity sector.
3. Prior demonstrable experience securing high value donations, either from individuals or corporates.
4. Empathy, professionalism and a positive team ethos.
