About the role: You will be covering as a teacher and tutor on the UAL Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Music courses with 16-19 age learners. The planning will be in place, but you will be required to deliver a dynamic and diverse live Music performance curriculum, that will include units linked to Music production, technology, and performance. Other general curriculum responsibilities for the duration of cover will include assessment, tracking student achievement and some administration for the courses. The teaching will be at our Tottenham centre, Monday to Wednesday and Thursday evening, with a Thursday morning at Kings Cross. About you: With appropriate experience and qualifications reflecting a strong and diverse background in Music education and/or the Music industry, you will have a teaching qualification. You will have a history of teaching within a vocational (or similar) context to a high standard, with personal/group tutoring experience and of teaching a variety of UAL units in Music at Level 2 and Level 3. You must have the ability to communicate with students and to motivate and support them in their studies. We are seeking somebody with production skills as well as vocal skills so we would consider this position as a job share.
