This role will be focussed on providing the very best care for our children, ensuring their individual needs are met in a group setting.Your role will include:Work as part of a close-knit team in a child-centred environment where the children are cared for in a safe, loving and stimulating wayTo be familiar with, and act according to, safeguarding guidelinesResponsible for the safety, security and well-being of all children attending the settingResponsible for ensuring regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their childs progressResponsible for supervising children at play indoor and outdoor, and at mealtimes to ensure safetyProvide an enhanced mealtime experience for the children, ensuring that any food that is served is being monitored and conforming to Food Safety regulationsTake responsibility for a planned programme of activities for the children, following the EYFS frameworkTo take charge of own key worker group and inform parents and other colleagues of any other relevant informationResponsible for maintaining childrens records, inclusive of observations and their next stepsResponsible for ensuring cleanliness of room is of a high standard and toys and equipment are properly cleaned and maintainedContributing to a positive and collaborative work environmentBe a reliable member of the team working cooperatively and with flexibilityBe a role model to all colleaguesBeing a proud and enthusiastic colleagueWhat youll need to succeed:A passion and dedication to providing world-class care to childrenTo hold a full and relevant early years qualification of Level 3 or aboveIt is a requirement to have at least a level 5 (Grade C) in GCSE Maths and EnglishPrior experience of working with children aged 3 months to 5 yearsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsStrong desire to learn & grow within your roleMy Ohana is an equal opportunities employer and values equity, inclusion and diversity.
