Start yours now Location: Aberdeen Job Summary: Join us in an exciting role where you'll be involved in diverse projects and tasks, focusing on both Import/Export responsibilities. As a valued team member reporting to the UK Compliance/Logistics Manager, you'll need creativity, excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative. Embrace a dynamic, fast paced and rewarding work environment Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Conduct quality checks to ensure HMRC compliance. Develop presentations and Standard Operating Procedures. Analyze customs duty exemptions and free trade agreements, reducing import and export costs. Analyze Logistics management system data, finding innovative ways to present and enhance it. Process financial data for SLB UK imports and exports. Organize team’s presentations and workshops. Coordinate deliveries to destinations, including time-critical situations. Update Import and export systems/logs, managing data and document storage as needed. Required Skills: The ideal candidate will possess good Microsoft Office and PowerBI skills and a keen interest in Supply Chain. Detailed oriented role. Time keeping skills Organisational Skills Communication skills Ability to show initiative Ability to organize meetings and record minutes into databases The intern will gain a basic level of logistics/customs which should allow him/her to enter a logistics role after the placement. Will gain a basic level of customs knowledge and terminology with progression to advanced scenarios as the placement progresses. Qualifications: In process of obtaining a Bachelors or Master’s degree in International Trade, Business management, Business Administration.
