Due to continued growth in our level of sales activity, a vacancy exists within our Presales Department for a Global Presales Executive – Cloud
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working globally, and supporting, the Regional Presales & Sales teams to upsell the benefits of Cloud based delivery (Public and Private) and to identify opportunities to position Cloud related products.
2. Working with the Cloud Design, Engineering & Provisioning teams, responsible for building and maintaining pre-sales literature and fact sheets across the various product portfolios; ensuring the security, operational and commercial benefits of KCS Cloud solutions are captured and presented clearly in all collateral.
3. Work with Cloud Operations Leadership to ensure all Infrastructure related Service Descriptions are current, relevant, clear and concise.
4. Support Cloud related RFIs/RFPs, building and maintaining templated responses to ensure consistent messaging.
5. Assisting in the production of webinars, events and other recorded collateral.
6. Support Application Technical Pre-sales teams to ensure Cloud Infrastructure is available, current and fit for purpose to enable customer facing demonstration systems.
7. Continually Improve the KCS internal understanding and knowledge of clod solutions offered.
8. Interact with other members of the Global and Regional presales teams to deliver the best solution for customers and their business requirements.
9. Assist with internal reporting on initiatives, sales activities and aligned projects.
Key Requirements:
10. A proven understanding of general IT Server hardware, Operating System and Networking infrastructure.
11. 5 years plus experience in IT, networking and infrastructure roles
12. 3 years plus experience in a customer facing sales engagement and solution selling.
13. Experience with Data Centres & Co-Lo Hosting providers and solutions.
14. Good understanding of Private & Public Cloud Technologies, including Hybrid and on-prem legacy systems.
15. Working experience with Azure, AWS or OCI (IaaS/PaaS) offerings would be advantageous.
16. Experience of system migrations into a Cloud environment and/or Cloud to Cloud migrations.
17. The ability to understand and assimilate requirements and convert these to presentations & demonstration to show compelling business benefit to the customer and why they should invest in KCS Cloud solutions.
18. Able to speak with current/potential customers to clearly understand any technical requirements/limitations and to position relevant solution(s).
19. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as polished presentation and client facing skills.
20. Ability to articulate KCS Cloud solutions commensurate with audience (be that technical and/or non-technical).
21. Location flexible, though must embrace a willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
22. Positive “can-do” attitude, with the ability to be flexible and think out of the box. Able to work autonomously when needed.
23. IT/Technical or MSP/CSP background preferred.
