The salary range for this role is £18,000 to £20,000 per annum based on a 14 hour working week. (£45,000 to £50,000 FTE)
About the Organisation
Learning Space is a Surrey based charity providing emotional wellbeing and mental health support through solutions focused interventions to children and young people. They are looking to recruit a number of Community Wellbeing Mentors to their team.
The charity has three bases in Redhill, Tadworth and Guildford. They aim to improve the lives of children, young people and their families.
Since 1997 they have offered 1:1 and group support for a range of emotional needs including low self-esteem, anxiety, anger, relationships, bereavement, bullying and neurodevelopmental needs. Their methodology is solution focused, encouraging children and young people to recognise and build on their existing strengths.
About the Role
To provide support and financial expertise to the Senior Leadership Team, CEO and Trustees. To manage the Bookkeeper ensuring records are accurate and up to date. Manage the collection and reporting of non-financial information in relation to the performance of contracts. To be part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Shortlisting Criteria
* Qualifications: ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
* Experience: Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge: Thorough understanding of UK tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
* Communication Skills: Ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse financial data and provide actionable insights.
* Leadership: Demonstrate financial leadership with colleagues in non-finance roles.
* Organisation: Good planning and organisation skills.
* Experience in a specific industry (e.g. Not for Profit, NHS).
* Ability to use and manage databases of non-financial information.
