Team Lead CAMHS Crisis Intervention & Home Treatment Team

To direct and oversee day-to-day delivery of clinical services provided by the Crisis Intervention/Home Treatment service, which is inclusive of the Paediatric Liaison Service and the management of the CAMHS 136 Suite. Responsibilities include monitoring inpatients and any joint projects involving the voluntary sector. As a Black Country Team Lead, you will also monitor systems supporting clinical delivery, work with locality teams to complete audits, ensure rostering is in place well in advance of duty, monitor rostering on health roster, set up reporting processes, and support the service manager as directed.
Main Duties of the Job
Work as a team lead within the specialist crisis intervention and home treatment team for referred children and young people as part of our commissioned approach to meeting their mental health needs. This provision is available from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, and includes paediatric liaison service and 136 suite cover. Team leaders will support the Service Manager/Clinical Lead with operational activities, ensuring delivery of a safe and quality service and the collection and analysis of metrics pertaining to performance, quality outcomes, finances, and other Trust-required data.
Work within the CAMHS Crisis Intervention/Home Treatment includes undertaking risk assessments in acute hospitals or other environments and ensuring cover for the 136 suite as required in and out of hours, including on-call for the 24/7 helpline.

Person Specification
* Registered Professional Nursing Qualification or AHP. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of the appropriate professional qualification that requires registration from the appropriate part of the NMC.
* Experience of supervising staff
* A willingness to develop an identified area of knowledge
* Management and evaluation of inpatient care
* Mobility to travel across sites for community client contact.
* Operate as a senior professional in the CIHT team.
* Ability to make decisions and provide feedback from meetings.
