A Bit About The Role Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Moray Group Activities is launching an exciting new service, offering short social opportunities for children and young people aged 5-18 with additional support needs. Our mission is to create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment where young people can build confidence, develop social skills, and enjoy engaging activities. We’re looking for a Children’s Services Practitioner to join our team and play a key role in planning, organising, and delivering diverse weekly group sessions held after school and on weekends. You’ll provide high-quality support, ensuring each session is safe, engaging, and tailored to the needs of our participants. Flexibility is essential, as sessions will take place after school during the week and on Saturday mornings. The ability to travel across Moray is also required, as locations will be needs-based. Ideally you will have: Experience of working with children and young people with additional needs The ability to engage effectively with children and young people Strong organisational skills Safeguarding knowledge and experience. Driving licence and access to a car. The job requires the ability to travel according to the needs of the job, with reasonable adjustments, if required, according to the Equality Act.
