The Micronising team sits within the early-stages of the manufacturing processes at GSK’s Manufacturing site at Ware. The purpose of this job is to Micronise, Condition and Dispense active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) for onward manufacture. It is also to perform and support Value Stream and Site activities and projects. Key Responsibilities (include): • Preparing and completing all batch and process related documentation and entries in electronic and paper-based systems in accordance with Good Documentation Practices and Data Integrity. • Preparing, processing, completing and checking Micronising, Conditioning, Sampling and dispensing processes and supporting processes. • (When not operating within Micronising, Dispensing, Sampling or Conditioning suites) acting in a support role to ensure continuous production and process improvement activities (as agreed with line-management and in accordance with the area Team Plan). • Taking on additional roles within the department (as agreed with line-management and in accordance with the area Team Plan). These may include performing additional duties in accordance with required training (Fire Marshal, First Aider, Workplace Trainer, Noise assessor, Manual Handling assessor, Ergonomic assessor, COSHH assessor, DI Champion, Chemical swabbing). • Performing routine checks and processing problem solving during the preparation, execution and completion of the manufacturing (and supporting activities). Shift Pattern - This role is aligned to the Double-Days (earlies and lates) shift pattern (16/5). This shift operates on circa 8-hour shifts running from circa 6:00 to 14:00 (earlies) and from circa 14:00 to 21:30 (lates) on alternating weeks. About You: This role would suit a self-motivated person who has experience of working in a cross-functional, global supply organisation. You will be resilient and calm under pressure, with strong people skills and a proven ability to influence people to achieve and drive performance. About Ware Manufacturing Site: Medicines at Ware are presented as either Respiratory devices or in Oral Solid Dose form, and the site has circa 1,500 highly-motivated and capable people working at it. The Ware site holds a unique position in our network as the only site responsible for launching the company’s pipeline of new medicines in oral and solid dose forms, as well as operating a high-volume commercial production for respiratory devices. A good standard of numeracy and literacy is essential (eg; GCSE Mathematics & English or equivalent). Basic computer literacy.
