Blackfox Solutions are delighted to be working with a leading infrastructure company specialising in power, fibre, and civil engineering projects, focusing on innovative solutions for Battery Storage sites, Data Centres, and Wind Turbines. They are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Health & Safety Manager to take a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the highest standards of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment across their operations. This role is essential in championing a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards. Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Develop and implement QHSE policies, fostering a company-wide safety culture.
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections, ensuring compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
3. Lead accident investigations, determining root causes and overseeing corrective actions.
4. Deliver training, safety bulletins, and toolbox talks to promote awareness across the business.
5. Maintain certifications (e.g., Constructionline, NICEIC, Achilles, CHAS) and ensure consistent adherence.
6. Manage the Business Management System (BMS) and lead internal audits to uphold ISO standards.
7. Collaborate on Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and safe work instructions.
8. Prepare and present Monthly Management Reports and Quarterly Board Reports.
Essential Qualifications Required:
1. NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
2. Membership in IOSH or equivalent professional body.
3. Environmental Management qualification (e.g., IEMA).
4. Strong knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001.
5. Minimum 2 years' experience in a QHSE role within the construction or utilities sector.
