ARE YOU A SPECIFICATION SALES MANAGER WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH USERS, SPECIFIERS ACROSS THE PRIVATE SECTOR INCLUSIVE OF BUILDERS, OEMS AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT COMPANIES? DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING WITHIN THE PLUMBING & HEATING, SANITARYWARE OR KBB INDUSTRY?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Specification Sales Manager to join a well established and reputable manufacturer who pride themselves on being a brand associated with quality. They boast a large portfolio of products and have significant growth plans within their sector. You will contribute to the ongoing success of the company and progression opportunities are readily available.
The role would suit candidates with previous specification sales experience. You must have a strong understanding of working alongside manufacturing. You must have a good understanding of different routes to market including merchants, contractors, specification and new build. You will have a proven track record of driving sales, contributing to company growth and key account management. Applicants with experience working within the plumbing, heating, sanitaryware or KBB industry will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply.
The role is 85% external and the key functions of his role will be to work proactively with your account portfolio, planning visits and keeping the customer informed throughout the sales process. You will be strive to deliver on revenue and margin targets. You will put the customer at the heart of your role and aim to ensure that your approach is value added as a benefit to move from their current provider. You will work closely with internal commercial and sales support teams to align on and develop sales strategy. You will be tasked with reporting on pipelines, portfolio status/revenues and identifying risks and opportunities with action plans to support.

Specification Sales Manager Role:
*Predominantly account management focused on relationship building and growth
*Delivery of personal turnover/margin targets
*Working alongside internal commercial and sales support teams
*Support contract/tender negotiation
*Monitoring current and predicting upcoming market trends within the markets
*Analysis of competitor activity
*Preparing forecasts and KPI reporting for senior management
*The role will require regular, daily travelling covering the North of England plus occasional overnight stays
