The Role
Lancaster City Council is recruiting for a Spa Host to manage Tranquil Spa at Salt Ayre leisure centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join an enthusiastic and passionate team at the award-winning Tranquil Spa.
Tranquil Spa is a vital part of Salt Ayre Leisure Centre. The successful candidate will have a desire to deliver outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for providing front of house management to the spa and ensure that a professional service is always delivered. You will advise customers on treatments and products and take enquiries and bookings for treatments and spa days.
You will be responsible for managing the performance of the spa team and ensure the spa achieves income targets. You will manage the financial and statistical performance of the spa and be responsible for managing the diary system and maximising income opportunities.
This post is temporary to cover maternity leave until November 2025. The hours of work for this position are 37 per week, on a rota basis and including evenings until 20:30pm and weekends. This post is based at Salt Ayre Leisure centre.
For internal applicants, this role will be considered for a secondment opportunity. The secondment of an employee from another Service can only take place with the agreement of the Manager of the Service the applicant is contracted to. When this role comes to an end, the successful internal applicant will return to their substantive role.
