Our mission is to expand our footprint in the B2B market by partnering with leading health & beauty retailers and platforms in the industry.Currently we distribute leading and emerging health and beauty brands such as Wilkinson Sword, Hawaiian Tropic and Suntribe.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced B2B Development Executive to join our team on a fractional basis. This is a key role for us, ideal for a proactive self-starter with a strong background in B2B sales and account management within the health and beauty category. The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing existing accounts, whilst opening and maximising new business within key targeted B2B accounts with leading retailers such as Beauty Bay, Cult Beauty, Sephora etc.
Key Responsibilities
* Account Acquisition: From a targeted list, approach, and secure new B2B distribution with top-tier health and beauty retailers.
* Proactive Outreach: Actively seek out new business opportunities and channels to expand Venture Blue’s presence in the health and beauty B2B market. This will cover a mixture of emails, phone calls, Linkedin, video calls and face to face meetings.
* Account Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
* Account Selection: Work closely with the brand and internal teams to develop and create new prospective account lists that meet our joint objectives and drive revenue growth within the B2B channel.
* Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to inform strategic decisions and optimise sales opportunities.
* Reporting: Provide regular updates on account performance, sales metrics, and market insights to senior management.
* Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of B2B strategies, from product development to promotions and customer support.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales and account management, specifically within the health and beauty industry.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the health and beauty market, including key players, trends, and consumer behaviour.
* Account Management: Proven track record of successfully winning, managing and growing key accounts within the B2B space.
* Sales Skills: Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
* Flexibility: Comfortable working in a fractional/part-time role, with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
