We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join the Frontier / GFP team, based at Brigg, on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the site; to ensure Health, Safety, Environment and QA standards are met in line with legal requirements, Company COPs, regulations, and site-specific plans. You will also be accountable for ensuring the team operates with integrity whilst delivering a high standard of customer service, within financial framework across all site activities, whilst creating and maintaining a Great Place to Work culture. Seed certification, TASCC etc Developing strong working relationship with other key personnel Motivating and creating a positive team environment whilst providing the team with clear direction, using delegation appropriately to ensure team development Driving efficiencies and questioning processes to ensure that the site operates to best practice while maintain high levels of customer service Ensuring all plant and equipment are maintained to a high standard Assisting with general operative tasks to enable the safe storage, testing and processing of seeds, grain and pulse commodities (i.e., wheat, barley, oats & beans) Ensuring good housekeeping and hygiene of the site/buildings is maintained and within capability, non-technical general maintenance in and around site Preparing and maintaining records and attending training on & off site to comply with site quality, health & safety rules and procedures About Us At GFP Agriculture we are experts in our field offering unrivalled standards of seed production and a mobile seed and grain cleaning service to our customers.
