Our client, a reputable civil engineering contractor, is looking to expand their team in Aberdeen with the addition of a Site Engineer. They're committed to delivering work of the highest standards while ensuring the safety and well-being of their team members. Responsibilities:
* Setting out and surveying the site
* Implementing strategies in line with management's directives
* Reviewing plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy
* Overseeing quality control and health and safety protocols on site
* Obtaining permits and warrants
* Maintaining company quality procedures
* Meeting project deadlines and budgets
* Mentoring and supporting junior staff
* Assisting the team with additional site engineering tasks as needed
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Site Engineer with a civil engineering contractor
* Experience in setting out for groundworks and infrastructure projects
* Relevant civil engineering qualification (HND/C or Degree)
* CAD or ground modelling knowledge is desirable but not essential
* Valid CSCS card and UK driving license
