Chepping View Primary Academy is seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated Learning Support Mentor from January 2025, to work alongside our enthusiastic and child-centred team.
The post holder will support individual pupils through mentoring and learning support work, be a deputy designated safeguarding lead with a responsibility for specific cases, including attending core group meetings and case conferences, and supporting families across the academy.
Job Description
Purpose of the role:
* To support pupils in securing an outstanding education at Chepping View Primary
Academy and provide an inclusive education for pupils
* To advise and liaise with teachers, SLT, parents and other professionals to best meet the needs of children requiring additional support
* To work as one of the academy’s DSL
* Treat pupils and staff with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position.
