Role Overview
As part of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplined maintenance team in the delivery of the short and long-term planning and management of the engineering operations for the cluster properties across both the front and back of house. You will ensure an efficient and economic running of the engineering disciplines, supplying services as required to the entire operation and maintaining equipment, building and utility services in optimum condition.
This role will include operational cluster shift coverage across a seven-day senior duty management rota and working between properties on a rotational / rota basis.
Key Responsibilities
Product Quality and profitability
Delivery of planning, scheduling and coordinating all preventative maintenance programs across all accommodation, public area, mechanical and electrical plant facilities
Proactive consumable cost control aligned with departmental budgets and revenues
Hosting of weekly and monthly strategy meetings with operational teams and Cluster General Manager reviewing key metrics and performance indicators on product upkeep
To consistently conduct time in motion studies across all maintenance functions in accordance with technology and process adoption identifying incremental efficiencies
Creation and delivery of annual opex / capex and repairs and refurbishment plans in a timely manner and within budgeted spend
Planning, scheduling and coordinating all the preventive maintenance and repair work
Customer centricity
Ensuring user adoption and Implementation of a complete Engineering Management System (Synergy / CAFM Explorer)
Achievement of monthly Net Promoter and Guest Review Index maintenance upkeep targets
Delivery of impeccable attention to detail across product upkeep standards
Timely management and execution of all Health and Safety requirements
Strategy delivery
Concisely develop cost benefit analysis reports for project investment
Train and develop skills of all team members to ensure optimum quality, and productivity
Conduct regular team briefings to discuss engineering support details for VIPs and events
Work proactively with the Cluster General Manager / Head of Property and your sister Property counterparts to optimise service & quality alignment
Company Policy and Risk Management
Collaborate with Risk and Compliance division to ensure all required training is delivered
Ensure that all H&S legislative requirements are met with internal and local authority inspections exceeding agreed scorecard targets
Proactively manage building security risk requirements in line with legislative and insurance mandate
Making a difference
Proactively work with Recruitment and Engagement in supporting local apprenticeships
Implement the giving something back initiative developed through the company charter
