All benefits subject to availability About the Role Our award-winning Food and Beverage team are at the hub of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Manager in the Road Hole Bar overlooking the Old Course. The Road Hole Bar has whisky enthusiasts flock from around the world to sample some of the three hundred whiskies we stock from all over Scotland. The bar also has an excellent selection of cocktails, champagnes and wines for our guests to enjoy. Duties and Responsibilities · Maintaining standards and operating procedures · Ensuring all service and bar processes are followed, taking every effort to control costs · Support and coach direct reports effectively, ensuring the highest standard of customer service is provided to all guests · Resolving any guest complaints satisfactory, ensuring all expectations are met and retaining customer loyalty · Forecasting for staffing requirements, ensuring staff volumes are adequate · Maintaining high standards of performance via appraisals and personal development plans, in line with our business values and objectives · Drive the success of our Food and Beverage Team through identifying continuous improvement areas About You You will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who prides themselves on delivering exceptional customer service. Having a track record of supporting and motivating a team is essential along with having a great front of house presence. Ideally, you will have relevant working experience within a four or five star property and be a Personal License Holder, or be willing to gain this within your first three months of employment. Strong knowledge of Whiskies is preferred for this position. Salary This a permanent position working 40 hours per week, over a flexible shift pattern and will include an element of weekend working.
