Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day client liaison at a retail level
2. Foster strong relationships with retailers
3. Provide coaching to Sales Representatives
4. Train Retailer Staff
5. Conduct pre-scheduled training sessions weekly
6. Provide Sales Assists at locations weekly
7. Gather market analysis and report market trends of how the product is perceived in the market
8. Plan and facilitate training and launch meetings to ensure all client/retailer groups can demonstrate product knowledge
9. Ensure stock levels of merchandise meet product demand and report back
10. Support Marketing initiatives by maintaining direct contact with sales points in the market
11. Resolve issues that affect brand integrity and brand presence
12. Provide feedback to Regional Field Manager and client
13. Support Go to Market planning and promotional activities in the field
14. Set up promotional materials and support dealers via incentive events and programs
15. Provide strategic input to help leverage the client brand
16. Merchandising execution
17. Training facilitation at trade show events as needed
Requirements:
1. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
2. Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly
3. Experience using various software programs and tools to streamline work processes
4. Recent college/university graduate with a related field of studies is an asset
5. Post-secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline
6. Sales experience in home appliances is an asset
7. Demonstrated experience in working within the Home Appliance sector
8. Direct Appliance industry experience (Retail of Manufacturer) - asset, not mandatory
9. Consumer electronics experience (Retail or Manufacturer)
10. Previous formal training experience (instructor or trainer)
11. Previous durable good or high-value retail Sales experience
12. Outbound sales representative experience
13. Experience as Field Sales Representative
14. Prior success in training and motivating a sales team in meeting or exceeding performance objectives
15. Available to travel within the market (Must love being on the road)
