Your new companyHays have been working with a secondary school located in Lancaster for a number of years. We have supplied both teachers and TAs to this school on a regular basis. They are now looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis starting after February half-term. It is a very special place where each child is encouraged to reach their full potential, both academically and personally.Your new roleThis role will be working on a full-time basis and will involve working on a 1:1 basis with a child in KS3 with mild SEND needs. You will be responsible for learning the specific needs of the child and making sure you provide the correct support, to help push this child to reach their potential. You must be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the pupils as they work and work closely with the teacher to ensure that all work set is delivered and planned in line with pupil ability.
