Catering Host / Hostess | Hotel Services | Spire Nottingham, Tollerton | Full Time - 5 days per week | £23,497.50 PA + enhanced weekend payments | Excellent Benefits
Spire Nottingham Hospital are looking for experienced waiting staff / restaurant hosts to join our fun and dedicated catering team.
You will be joining a team who work together to provide our customers with the highest level of customer service and in return are treated with respect and appreciation. We’re committed to looking after people, both patients and colleagues.
As part of our commitment to both patients and colleagues we are looking for a full time Catering Host/Hostess to join our wonderful team. You will provide an outstanding service to our patients by ensuring they receive a first class service, this may be delivering food and beverages to patients rooms, or responding to ad hoc requests from patients. Or preparation of cold foods such as sandwiches and salads / cold meals. Maintain the restaurant and restocking crockery and cutlery.
Shift pattern: Mixture of shifts - either 6:30-14:30 or 11:30-19:30 across Monday- Sunday (5 days out of 7)
Salary: £23,497.50 P/A standard (£12.05 PH) plus enhanced weekend rates +50%
Duties and responsibilities:
* Using your previous waitressing / waiting experience, you will ensure meals and beverages are delivered to patients’ rooms
* Responding to any ad-hoc requests from patients to ensure their comfortable stay
* Assisting the catering and housekeeping teams with day-to-day duties
* You must be able to work on a rota basis across Monday to Sunday
* Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within all food and drink service areas throughout the Hospital in compliance with hygiene training.
* Ensure that cleaning tasks are completed and signed for in accordance with cleaning schedules / procedures.
Who we're looking for:
* You will have experience in other catering environments, ideally within restaurants or similar
* A customer service-focused approach
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous experience in hospitality is desirable but not essential
