Job summary Salaried GP Maternity cover post. Fixed term contract April 2025 15/09/25 Opportunity working with a friendly inner city practice in vibrant area of Brighton. Ardingly Court Surgery (in Kemptown, Brighton) is seeking salaried GP to temporarily join our team. Maternity cover salary £11,690 per annum (pro rata) per session. We provide a positive working environment with a good work life balance Excellent administrative support including trained workflow team who initially review all clinical correspondence to streamline paperwork requirements. Ideally 2 sessions per week on a Wednesday, starting in April 2025 (or as near as possible to this). We require the post holder to work much like a Salaried GP (assisting with prescriptions, paperwork, filling pathology results and duty doctor rota). Annual leave in line with BMA salaried contract. We are GP practice of approximately 6500 patients and consider ourselves a close knit team. Our clinical system is EMIS. High performing QOF and rated Good for CQC. Main duties of the job Provide high quality patient care Carry out surgery, telephone and video consultations and undertake home visits Liaise with other team members and organisations involved in patient care and respond promptly to queries Investigate and refer patients as appropriate in line with current guidance Deal promptly with results and correspondence Provide cover as required when other GPs are on leave Collect data for audit and QoF purposes Excellent communication with patients and carers Attend clinical, clinical governance and educational meetings Strong team player Strong collaborative working relationships with partners and all team members Effectively manage own time, workload and resources Reporting of Significant Incidents involving the practice About us We are a friendly, well run and supportive Practice in Kemptown (part of the city centre of Brighton).
