An excellent opportunity to join our friendly team has opened up for an enthusiastic part-time Senior Lecturer (Chartered Forensic Psychologist). We are looking for an individual who is a BPS Chartered Forensic Psychologist with relevant and current experience to contribute to and take a lead on our successful BPS accredited MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology course. The post holder would also contribute to our Undergraduate and other postgraduate teaching and supervision and engage in sustained scholarly and research activity as appropriate. Applicants do not require a PhD for this post, but should have relevant forensic psychology experience, and some experience of teaching in the University sector would be advantageous. The role is part-time and any successful applicant will be expected to be available for on campus activities on Thursdays, particularly during term time and for recruitment events.
The Role
The successful candidate will support our current course director of the BPS accredited MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology course (Stage 1) in addition to contribute to teaching across both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, by delivering taught modules, as well as supervising undergraduate and postgraduate student projects. The appointee will be expected to contribute to ongoing curriculum development, as well as assume additional administrative roles, as appropriate.
The Person
Applicants should be a BPS chartered Forensic Psychologist, preferably having experience of teaching in the University sector, and be willing to engage in scholarly and research activity alongside teaching and supervision duties (including writing for academic publication).
How will you work?
As all of the content modules of our MSc Forensic and Investigative Psychology are on a Thursday, any successful applicant will need to be able to be available for on campus activities on Thursdays.

Expected salary: £44,263 to £54,395 pro rata
