Behaviour Support Workers - Wakefield and Surrounding Areas
Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Are you looking for a flexible role where you can make a real difference while exploring opportunities in multiple schools? Teaching Personnel, the market leader in education recruitment, is currently seeking Behaviour Support Workers to work across a variety of schools in the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire.

3. Running targeted intervention sessions on topics such as mental health, self-esteem, anger management, and resilience.
4. Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a calm and focused learning atmosphere.
5. Helping pupils reintegrate into school following periods of absence and improving their attendance and punctuality.
6. Supporting teachers in implementing personalised learning plans and ensuring pupils stay on track.
About You:
We're looking for individuals with a genuine passion for supporting young people. Whether you've worked in education, youth work, social care, or similar settings, your resilience, empathy, and proactive approach will set you apart.
Key skills and experience:
1. Team Teach training is highly desirable (or a willingness to complete this training).
