We are currently seeking a talented User Researcher to join a leading consultancy and contribute to high-profile projects within the public sector. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design and Government Digital Service (GDS) principles, as well as an active SC Clearance.
What You’ll Do
* Conducting user research activities, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and workshops.
* Synthesizing findings into user journey maps, personas, and process improvements.
* Collaborating with designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure user needs are at the forefront of service design.
* Preparing and delivering research outputs to meet GDS assessment requirements.
* Supporting the development of user-centered strategies and contributing to the overall success of agile project teams.
What You’ll Need
* SC Clearance: Essential for this role; applicants must meet the eligibility requirements.
* Experience: 2-5 years in user research, ideally within public sector projects.
* GDS Expertise: Proven knowledge of GDS principles and practical application in service design.
* Experience in creating user journey maps, process maps, and actionable insights.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
* A track record of working within agile delivery environments.
