I am working with a council in North London who are currently recruiting for an Interim SEN Case Officer to join them & work within their SEN Assessment & Review Team. SEN Case Officer 3 month contract 5 Days per week £280 per day Hybrid role Inside IR35 Start Mid-April 2025 In your role as a SEN Case Officer you will manage a caseload of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring that statutory obligations are met, and outcomes for children are maximized. This will be across the full 0-25 age range. You will also be dealing with all statutory processes, communication and queries post assessment including annual reviews and phase transfers. In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working within SEN in a local authority setting, along with experience of drafting initial plans, amending plans and holding a caseload of annual reviews. Requirement: SEN Case Officer – Assessment & Review Team Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice Experience working within SEN/D in a local authority setting Experience working in assessments and annual reviews Experience drafting and amending EHCP’s Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
