PaRT Case Officer Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2GQ Part time, Monday, Thursday, and Friday (18.5 hours per week) Permanent position Grade 5: £31,364 - £34,834 (pro rata) Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK Nottinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service (NFRS) is looking for a motivated individual wanting to advance their career as a Persons at Risk Team (PaRT) Case Officer. You will be at the heart of NFRS's commitment to improve the safety of the community by working with key stakeholders to reduce the number of accidental and deliberate fires and other avoidable incidents in Nottinghamshire. The Role The role is based out of Highfields Fire Station, but travel will be required to other sites across the county should the wider Prevention Team need your support. The post is 18.5 hours a week, however, you will need to have a flexible approach to working hours and this could include some evening and weekend work. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with community partners, Station Managers, Operational Crews and other departments to reduce fires, fatalities and injuries, while identifying vulnerable individuals and promoting initiatives for their safety. Develop and maintain partnerships with local organisations, ensuring effective communication and sharing of good practices across the Service. Coordinate and conduct post-incident evaluations to identify trends, provide feedback and intervene with high-risk individuals using NFRS policies and procedures and partner collaboration. Conduct regular Safe and Well assurance checks, establish referral pathways and undertake High Risk Safe and Well visits with SHSOs, Crews or the Service Occupational Therapist. Participate in case review meetings and report on KPIs related to the CHARLIE journey. Provide training on the CHARLIE risk scoring matrix and foster good relations with diverse communities, including newly settled communities and refugees. Work with minority communities to develop and maintain trust of NFRS services. Why NFRS? An understanding on how to positively negotiate with and influence a wide range of audiences and possess excellent interpersonal skills to be able to effectively communicate with a variety of diverse audiences and develop relationships. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work as part of a team to ensure work is completed to deadlines. Have good written skills with the ability to be able to analyse data and draw conclusions and then be able to present those conclusions to a variety of audiences.
