Duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. The Finance manager will be responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financials for the UK business of a global manufacturing company.
2. This role will coordinate and oversee routine financial activities including purchasing and payment, intercompany recharges and CAPEX accounting.
3. Preparation of accurate and timely monthly financials for the UK business submitted as part of the Group close.
4. Production of annual statutory financial statements as well as the management of the external audit process for the company.
5. Coordination with the tax department on the process and calculation of intercompany management fees and recharges within the Group.
6. Review and approval of weekly payment runs as well as preparation of quarterly cash flow forecasts for the company.
7. Management of CAPEX reporting for the UK including the internal order process.
This role would ideally suit:
8. Degree in Accounting/Finance
9. Qualified accountant with extensive PQE in a financial reporting environment with either people management experience or relevant project management experience.
10. An in-depth understanding of multi currency / multi entity accounting
