Site Engineer - Utilities
About the Role:
We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client, a leading name in the infrastructure sector, for an experienced Site Engineer specialising in Utilities. This role involves working on a major infrastructure project, where your expertise will be pivotal in the successful delivery of multiple utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. You will lead the delivery of multiple utility services, focusing on at least two of the following: water, gas, electrical, and communications.
2. You will collaborate closely with the commercial team to manage changes on-site, ensuring that all operations are aligned with contractual obligations.
3. You will organize and manage site logistics to ensure smooth operation, overseeing and supporting the site team in achieving project goals.
4. You will ensure all work adheres to Health & Safety standards and CDM regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all.
5. You will provide technical guidance and solutions to the site team, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all utility works.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. You must have a proven track record within the utility industry, specifically in delivering multiple utilities projects.
2. The following certifications are desirable: SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) and NRSWA Supervisor (New Roads and Street Works Act). Certification as a Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
3. You will possess strong organizational and logistical abilities, with a deep understanding of Health & Safety regulations and CDM requirements.
4. You should be able to work effectively with the site team, providing support and direction to achieve project deliverables.
