Superb BDM opportunity to join this growing business that manufactures & sells specialist door systems.
They offer a range of specialist internal door systems primarily for the NHS & Healthcare profession, but also serve the public sector, educational, & pharmaceutical sectors (all B2B).
This is a new business role working around the Wales & West England region, engaging with complex frameworks & tendering to the NHS, often with longer lead times.
You should have proven business development & sales experience, an ability to sell a technical / specifications product, and ideally have experience with tendering & frameworks or longer lead time sales.
You will be incentivized by both individual & team targets, from which you can earn a good quarterly bonus (up to 30%).
You will mostly manage your own diary, working from home, visiting clients on the road, and the role will also involve some travel to their HQ in Hampshire for training/meetings. They offer a very generous car allowance (£10K).
Working to set targets, objectives, and KPIs both individually and as a team, you will:
* Research and identify new business opportunities within agreed strategies, including new identified markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services.
* Seek out the appropriate contacts in an organization, including specification, procurement, and supply chain.
* Generate leads, business development, and cold call prospective customers.
* Meet with customers/clients face-to-face, via Teams, or over the phone.
* Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
* Think strategically, seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business.
* Develop a sales pipeline to agreed targets.
* Educate the customer base on products and pricing.
* Carry out sales forecasts and analysis, presenting your findings to Directors.
* Seek ways to improve both your individual performance and the business operations.
* Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
Required:
* Driving license essential.
* Proven experience in sales & business development.
* Experience within specification sales / technical products.
* Ability to deal with more complex tendering / framework agreements is ideal.
* Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
* IT & technology skills, including the use of spreadsheets and data intelligence portals.
* Ability to analyze sales figures and write reports.
* Presentation skills.
