Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the necessary skills to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children in a nursery setting, ensuring their well-being, and supporting their development through various activities. The Childcare Provider will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with both children and their families.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment.
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
* Communicate effectively with children, encouraging their social and emotional growth.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the childcare area to ensure a hygienic space for children.
* Provide leadership by guiding other staff members and supporting teamwork within the nursery.
* Drive initiatives that enhance the overall childcare experience for both children and families.
* Observe children's behaviour and progress, documenting any significant developments or concerns.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
* Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour under pressure.
* Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both children and colleagues.
* A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their safety and well-being.
* Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or related fields are mandatory.

We pay a £250 bonus on successful completion of your probation and a further £250 after one years service.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.84 per hour
