Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Derby
Salary: Up to £27,000
My client is on the hunt for a highly motivated IT Support Technician who has a passion for IT and excellent communication skills.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the company's helpdesk portal.
2. Deliver 1st Line support for tickets submitted via the helpdesk, phone, instant messaging, or email.
3. Coordinate with third-party software and hardware vendors to resolve issues that cannot be addressed internally.
4. Track and follow up on outstanding requests to ensure timely resolution.
5. Set up user accounts, configure, and install hardware for new hires and manage the offboarding process for leavers.
6. Perform general administrative support tasks.
7. Documentation.
