Snowdon Recruitment are working with one of the UK's market leaders in the Electrical field who are expanding their electrical division to meet the growing demands of their business. They are looking for an Electrician to join their team in the Liverpool area. In this Electrician role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment between branches and customer sites across the North of England in a safe, professional, and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will possess practical electrical engineering skills and experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, along with being part of an on-call rota. This is one week in six on call. Responsibilities for the Electrician Job: Carry out electrical installation work efficiently in compliance with the current I.E.E. Regulations for Electrical Installations and the Construction Industry Safety Regulations. Maintain, install, service, and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and customer units, ensuring adherence to legislative standards. Produce reports and estimates for repairing equipment and advise on safety issues when necessary. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping by ensuring work areas and vehicles are kept tidy and in good order. Communicate regularly and effectively with your manager, as well as internal and external customers and stakeholders, regarding timelines, quality, and overall service expectations. Participate in the on-call rota for call-outs when required. Qualifications Required for the Electrician Job: Essential: JIB-qualified Electrician and able to meet the requirements to obtain an ECS Gold Card. Preferred: 18th Edition.
