Land Manager - Solar & BESS Projects Flexible location and a hybrid working system Salary Dependent on Candidate Experience - up to £70,000 Piper Maddox are currently partnering with a leading developer of Solar and Battery Storage assets to build out their team in the UK. They have been on a roll this year with a number of their projects receiving consents and they are showing no signs of slowing down into the New Year. Across multiple global territories, they have put together an overall pipeline of close to 12GW and a large proportion of this is within their UK portfolio. Pair this with a strong construction partnership, and stable backing, and you get a hugely successful model for delivering utility scale renewable energy projects. These projects are a mixture of TCPA projects as well as multiple DCO applications. Over this year, they have received landmark progression of their NSIPs through the development phases, pushing them forward to be one of the leading players in the UK renewable energy industry. It is a hugely exciting time for the team. Their development team is looking to add a Land Manager to their ranks to assist in driving forward their existing portfolio and also to contribute to the greenfield origination of new opportunities for renewable energy developments. Your role would surround a blend of sourcing suitable land for renewable energy development, the management of landowner relationships, as well as the negotiation of commercial terms relating to a land acquisition (Heads of Terms, Option to Lease Agreements, Wayleaves, Easements etc). This role would be well suited to candidates from backgrounds such as: > Land Managers from other renewable energy developers. > Chartered Surveyors from an Energy, Utilities, and Infrastructure background. > Rural Surveyors comfortable dealing with rural/agricultural stakeholders. Prior experience working on renewable energy projects is preferred, but transferrable industries include utilities, and major infrastructure.
