The Portfolio and Project Analyst role sits within the Strategy and Governance function of the Digital, Information and Technology (DIT) directorate which takes a lead role in portfolio negotiation with the business against their priorities and transformation agenda along with taking accountability for the delivery of the prioritised pipeline of investments. You will be joining a newly established Programme Management Office function, working closely with the Head of Service Delivery and DIT Deputy Director to implement best practices in managing the department portfolio and providing guidance to the teams delivering the portfolio of the required assurance processes. Main duties of the job The purpose of the role is to create, support and improve the assurance processes, to ensure the departments portfolio of Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) changes are delivered transparently and aligned to agreed NICE's priorities. The main duties of the post holder are to; o Manage the process for all new work requests to the department and facilitate the triage with appropriate subject matter experts in line with agree timescales.o Oversee the centralised resource and capacity management process for the department.o Manage the consolidation and analysis of delivery metrics along with the creation of artefacts and recommendations to support agreed governance processes.o Ensure delivery risks that may impact portfolio milestones are transparently captured and escalated as appropriate.o Provide advice and guidance on portfolio and project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques as requiredo Identify and iterate changes to portfolio reporting processeso Provide support to the DIT Portfolio function such as arranging meetings, maintaining actions logs etc About us We offer a range of benefits including: NHS pension scheme which is one of the most generous in the UK.
