What you will do in your working day
* Creating, raising, and receiving purchase orders for equipment from a range of suppliers
* Receive and receipt deliveries
* Ensure equipment and job boxes are available and necessary notes / details updated to enable smooth operation
* Managing Fire Risk Assessments - booking in, organising purchase order and scheduling with customer
* Update and maintain internal CRM system
* Contribute to credit control function - customer debt management
* Set up customer contracts accurately and within a specific timeframe
* Scheduling works for Engineers
* Deal with customer enquiries in the shared inbox
* Handle inbound / outbound calls, invoices, enquiries, orders and service related in a professional manner
* Preparing, filing, administering project folders from inception to handover
* Manage, investigate and resolve customer enquiries
* Book manage and organise company training
* Liaise with team members to ensure commitments are achieved
* Generate new leads and opportunities following enquiries
* Always remain confidential
* Any other tasks deemed required from business
The training you will be getting
You will be based in our offices at Orton Southgate, Peterborough. Along with your training provider we will support you in gaining the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to attain a level 3 business administration apprenticeship certificate via an end point assessment.
Whilst you will spend most of your time in our office, you will need to attend Peterborough College 1 day per month.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Once the Apprenticeship is completed the role will be promoted from Junior Administrator to a full time role as an office administrator.
