Health and Wellbeing Nurse - Alcohol and Substance Misuse
The postholder will provide a range of health and wellbeing and harm reduction interventions to service users, in accordance with the agreed model of service delivery.
Main duties of the job
As part of this role, you will plan, coordinate and support appropriate detoxification from drugs and/or alcohol, assessing the needs of service users and implementing and evaluating care plans. It will be vital for you to develop strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders and commissioners for the continuity of service, as well as leading on providing community detoxification programmes, clinics and groups.

Our team in Rotherham are recruiting for an experienced Health and Wellbeing Nurse, to join them in providing high quality recovery care to a diverse service user group. Person Specification
Qualifications
* Please note that you must have current NMC registration to be considered for this position.
* Should you be successful in your application, you will be required to provide 3 years' worth of references and where applicable, will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
* Working knowledge of substance misuse and an independent prescribing qualification would be advantageous, but we are open to conversations with all suitably qualified applicants.
Experience
* This is a busy team, with multiple priorities ongoing, so it's important that you are highly organised and able to manage your time effectively.
* You will have sound experience of comprehensive assessment of need, including risk assessments and be able to implement and evaluate patient care and act accordingly if untoward changes occur.
* You will have a minimum of 12 months experience post registration.
