Position: Senior Care Assistant As a senior care assistant, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of healthcare assistants to ensure the provision of high-quality care and assistance to our clients' residents. In addition to the responsibilities of a care assistant, you will oversee the daily operations of the care team, coordinate care plans, and act as a point of contact for the residents and their families. Key Responsibilities: Leading and supervising a team of healthcare assistants. Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting. Administering medication in accordance with the prescribed guidelines. Supporting residents with daily activities, such as meal preparation, eating, and mobility. Monitoring and recording residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff. Providing emotional support and companionship to residents. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents. Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care. Requirements: Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care required, candidates who are working towards this are also encouraged to apply. Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is preferred. Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals.
