From Swimming lessons, to walking football and everything in-between we are driven to provide fun and welcoming sessions to support the whole community to be active, both within our leisure centres and in the local community. We are seeking an inspirational and passionate Swim School Manager to build on our excellent reputation and programme of swim activities and to develop our Swim School. The main duties will be to drive aquatic activities within set budgets to achieve commercial success by developing a comprehensive pool programme, including Learn to Swim, School and Club programmes and training staff to Freedom Leisure’s high standards. The person we are looking for needs to be passionate about swimming, have a drive to lead commercial success, a natural ability to promote activities, as well as have the ability to manage a number of priorities at the same time and be able to build, lead and motivate staff. Hours: 37 hours a week - Monday to Sunday (Rota basis) This is a temporary position of up to 12 months. Requirements To design, maintain, monitor and report back on a financially viable swimming lesson programme that meets the needs of the centre customers, schools, and pre-schoolers. To ensure the smooth administrative running of the swim school. To organise and communicate the swimming teacher rota in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all lessons are covered by authorised staff. To organise the work carried out by swimming teachers To assist in the recruitment of the swimming teachers.
