The Growth Company is looking for a Data Analyst to assist the Facilities and Sustainability teams by providing administrative and data analytic support to enable GC to meet its contractual compliance and sustainability KPIs and maintain its legal compliance obligations associated with Statutory and Planned Preventative Maintenance.
This includes supporting GC’s Head of Facilities, Sustainability Manager as well as other sustainability leads whose work feeds into GC’s sustainability KPIs and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and report the requirements of all GC Facilities controlled group contracts for shared common services, including Waste Management, Utility Management, and mail solutions, assisting with onboarding new group contracts, as required.
2. Co-ordinate and support key GC stakeholders including other GC entities, and other external organisations to implement GC’s sustainability and compliance objectives.
3. Support GC’s Head of Facilities, Sustainability Manager, Social Value Lead, and Procurement Manager to monitor and report against targets and other sustainability objectives including legal compliance reporting and our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS).
4. Contribute towards effective departmental workload planning, including producing reports, data set building and analysis, and periodic performance review via the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) software.
5. Work with the GC Communications team to regularly communicate environmental, sustainability, and Facilities departmental undertakings and other relevant information.
6. Produce and support Facilities and Sustainability leads with the production of management information reports, from various platforms, in line with business requirements and timescales.
7. Undertake accurate and timely financial administration including raising purchase orders and sales invoices, processing invoices and claims, and financial period reconciliations and reporting.
8. Play a key part in the preparation for audits, ensuring audit trails are comprehensive, fully compliant, and well-presented.
About You:
1. Good IT skills - in particular word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
2. Methodical with a high level of attention to detail.
3. Strong data and analytical skills - able to work with large amounts of data to analyse and concisely summarise findings using charts, pivot tables, and written word.
4. Excellent organisational and administrative skills including working to deadlines and managing administration of multi-faceted projects.
5. Ability to manage your working day to ensure that tasks are completed on time.
Skills Required:
1. NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
2. Have the confidence to communicate professionally with internal colleagues and external contacts, face-to-face as well as over the telephone and via digital platforms.
3. To have worked on projects and/or systems that require the collection and analysis of data from different sources and using Excel and Word to present these.
4. Experience in effective contract management, preferably relating to the support of facilities management/utilities and soft services.
5. Have worked or volunteered within an organisation in a similar role.
6. Experience of working in the Facilities or environmental & sustainability sector (Desirable).
7. Experience and knowledge of working in occupational Health and Safety (Desirable).
8. Experience with ISO 14001 or other ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 50001, or ISO.
