Job title: Quality Engineer

Salary: £41,361+ depending on skills and experience.
What you’ll be doing:
* Able to access, basic understanding of and develop the local Management System documentation e.g. policies, procedures, workmanship standards, risk assessments and processes in their related area.
* Liaise/interface with appropriate areas of the business and build effective relationships.
* Responsible for conducting internal audits, supporting non-conformance management, supporting Quality investigations.
* Contribute to team meetings and working groups.
* Produce written reports and presentations ensuring accuracy and clarity of meaning.
* Support the delivery of results via continuous improvement activities.
Your skills and experiences:
* A completed Manufacturing/Aircraft apprenticeship (Level 3 or equivalent).
* Understanding and application of any of the following standards: ISO 9001/ EN9100, Part 145, Part M, 55001, NADCAP.
* Understanding of Business Management Systems.
* The ability to interpret specifications and procedures.
* Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies; Fishbone, 5 Why, relationship diagrams, six sigma etc.

Would you like to join the AIR Manufacturing Governance and Assurance team as a Quality Engineer, assuring the wider Manufacturing business across the Lines of Business?
As a Quality Engineer, you will be conducting independent operator/inspector audits as well as liaising with various stakeholders within the Manufacturing function. This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your Quality skill set and influence overall operational performance.
