Join us as a Merchandisng Assistant and you’ll be a big part of this. As a Merchandising Assistant you will support the Category Merchandiser and Assistant Merchandiser to deliver the category strategy through the coordination of a suite of activities including analytics, reporting, trading updates and query resolution to drive a profitable sales performance across all channels Your responsibilities will include: Join forces with the Category Merchandiser and Assistant Merchandiser to craft a strategy that delights our customers. You’ll gather trading updates, reports, and insights to spot opportunities. Be the backbone of our management information suite, handling sales performance, forecasting, and margin reporting. You’ll identify risks and propose solutions to boost sales across all channels. Collaborate with the buying team on exciting projects like range reviews and promotions. You’ll plan regular project meetings and keep everyone on track with key milestones. Team up with Supply Chain to maintain optimal stock levels within budget. Execute the trading plan by ensuring campaigns are timely and complete, flagging any risks to stakeholders. Plan and execute stock exit strategies across all channels to minimize stock write-offs. Be the go-to contact for resolving queries and gathering feedback from stores and stakeholders. Monitor channels like Yammer for additional insights. Conduct regular store and competitor visits to stay ahead of the game. To deliver this role you will have expereince in: Strong admin and organizational skills : Ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Confident communicator : Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with internal and external customers. Relationship building : Capable of connecting with people at all levels. Flexible and proactive : Takes initiative and adapts to changing situations. Analytical and numerical : Strong analytical skills and comfort with numbers. Attention to detail : Meticulous and thorough in completing tasks. Project management : Basic skills in managing projects.
